The resort is quite laid back, and we find that most guests prefer the daily ‘beach attire’ of sarongs and swimwear for the women, and t-shirt and swimming trunks for the men.

More often than not, you will find that you forget altogether about your shoes, and go barefoot everywhere.

Here's some key info about what we offer:

The main swimming pool is right by the beach, surrounded by large daybeds for relaxing.

There are two bars: one in the dining room, close to the pool, and the Coconut Bar down on the beach.

The white-sand beach is great for swimming at all tides—best at mid to high tide, or through the reef gap at low tide.

We provide plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool and in front of the restaurant on the beach.

Beachfront Bures come with their own private daybeds and sun loungers, complete with grass umbrellas on the sand.

At our PADI dive shop, you can book diving, game fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling gear, and various day trips and activities.

We also have a Kids Club with a playground, a Teen Tent for older kids and adults, and a full-service spa open daily for treatments. There's something here for everyone.

AIR CONDITIONING:

All guest rooms are fully air-conditioned.

BABYSITTING:

Take advantage of our on site Mei Mei Mama's while at Octopus Resort. We recommend planning ahead, and booking at least 24 hours ahead, to avoid disappointment.

This service is available from 8am - 9pm daily. A complimentary service for up to four hours per day for those in Beachfront Bures, and above room categories, with each additional hour FJ$20 per hour.

For our other guests, it is a flat FJ$20 per day for the 1st four hours, and FJ$20 per hour for any additional hours.

Can be organized with just a few hours notice. As all the girls who babysit at the resort are all very familiar with the resort, and quite often, one of the sisters or even wives of one of the team, you are assured that your little ones are in safe hands.

The girls will entertain the children during the day and follow your wishes, and at night, it is a great idea to tuck the little ones into bed after a big day of beach play, and then you can enjoy the evening together, all the while, knowing that they are in good hands.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES:

Our check in time is generally when you arrive to the resort, with the earliest normally being 10.30 am. Our aim is to get you straight into your room on arrival.

Our check out time is 9.30 am, for those guests staying until later in the afternoon, we can store your luggage and we have Cabanas available for your use, and also showers and bathroom facilities. 

Late checkouts may be available on request subject to the next check in for the room you are staying in, they are complimentary and subject to availability.

ELECTRICITY:

Fiji runs off the same voltage as Australia and New Zealand – 220 to 240 volts.

SAFES:

All the rooms have personal safes.

DAILY ROOM SERVICING:

The lovely housekeeping ladies will be attending to your villa between 10 am and 4 pm daily to refresh your room for you – to make sure you have everything that you need, and ensure another comfortable day and night's sleep for you. Please do feel free to let them know if you require anything extra, and you will find that they are only too happy to help.

BOUTIQUE:

The resort has a small boutique that offers the essentials – like toothbrushes, razors, and other toiletry items, just in case you forget them, and you can also find things like dresses, Fiji souvenirs, postcards, and resort hats and apparel.

DINING:

The restaurant hosts breakfast, your a la carte lunches, and also your 5 course evening meals, all included in your meal plan. The dress code is resort casual for breakfast, beachwear is fine for lunch, ( please no bare-chested gentlemen in the dining room), resort casual is excellent for the evening. As the team offers exceptional service, you will be treated to a serene ambiance with candlelit tables, an extensive wine list, and menus to satisfy all.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:

We can cater to most dietary requirements. Each of our menus already offer vegetarian, gluten free and lactose free options. If you’re a vegan, you’ll love the innovative menus our Chefs have created to tantalise your taste buds.

MINI BAR IN ROOMS:

We offer a complimentary stocked mini bar once only on arrival for our guests staying in the premium beachfront room categories This is stocked on arrival once only. If you require these items to be replenished, all items incur a unit cost and any charges placed onto your room account:

Items are nontransferrable for other things. Are not able to be consumed outside of your villa nor able to be exchanged for cash. Items may change without notice due to supply and demand

WIFI:

The resort offers complimentary WiFi provided by Starlink. There is WiFi in most guest rooms, and in the restaurant, pool and bar area.

DRINKING WATER:

We do not advise drinking the water from the taps in any or the rooms as this is only filtered to 10 microns. However, extensive measures have been put in place to ensure that the water accessing the kitchen, bar, and restaurant is all filtered to drinking standards (1 Micron), and there is complimentary bottled water in your rooms.

BEACH TOWELS:

Are provided complimentary during your stay, and are available from the office or your room. Just pop in and collect them on your way to the beach or pool.

TEA AND COFFEE:

Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge, are available in all Bures and Premium rooms.

DAILY ROOM CHARGES:

All activities and beverage charges are placed onto your room account, and payable upon checkout. At the time of any bar purchase or booking an activity, you will be asked to sign a docket.

MONEY EXCHANGE:

The resort does not have an ATM or money withdrawal facility, so we do advise that if required, you organize your FJ$ when you arrive in Fiji at the airport. On checkout, you can use Visa and MasterCard, American Express and FJ$, and we are also happy to exchange Foreign currency for you if required.

RECEPTION HOURS:

NO DRONE POLICY

The resort has chosen to enforce a ban on the use of Drones while at the resort. This is to protect the privacy of our guests. While we appreciate some operators may choose to contact the local Civil Aviation board to seek approval and a permit, the resort reserves the right to protect the privacy of not only the guests but the private property of the resort itself. We thank you for your understanding and for respecting the resort's policy.

LAUNDRY:

We do offer a wash and fold laundry service, just place the items you want washed in the bag provided and detail the items you are sending for washing. Laundry given today will be returned the following am.

And high chairs are available free of charge.
